There is such a character, a business prodigy, the owner of Traffic Devils, Alexander Slobozhenko (born 1998).
They wrote about him as “the youngest dollar millionaire.” Subsequently, journalists caught him on excessive boyish show-off. The guy sowed money around himself, boasted of travel on business jets, his own fleet of premium vehicles, costing 3 lemmas dollars, etc.
As the UP writes, Slobozhenko is not only a “golden draft dodger” (“bought” removal from the military register), but also has problems with concealing taxes and works for gray gambling companies. Journalists discovered that Slobozhenko and his friends Vadim Gerasimenko and Artur Bershadsky, having the status of “unfit for military service” against the background of the martial law regime, constantly travel outside the country and have fun at European resorts. And another character from this company crosses the border as a volunteer under the “Path” system.
The essence of Slobozhenko’s business is “traffic arbitrage primarily in the areas of gambling and betting.” In human language: he brings customers to advertisers’ sites or applications and receives money for them. Its main clients are the gambling business. Traffic Devils became a mega-size in this market during the peak heyday of gambling (2019 – 2023).
There is one story that is now catching up with Slobozhenko. As investigators note, using a glitch in the SPENDGE virtual bank card creation service, Slobozhenko’s company allegedly carried out a series of frauds. For almost two months of 2022 - from March to May, Traffic Devils employees created a certain number of payments totaling almost 26 million euros to pay for advertising on Facebook. However, only a meager 259 thousand euros were written off from the balance sheet of Slobozhenko’s people. The underpayment of payments made by Traffic Devils employees amounts to more than 25.6 million euros. Moreover, in April, representatives of the Traffic Devils team appeared at a “gathering” in Moscow, which Russian websites wrote about. Allegedly, on December 5, 2023, a meeting was held on the Russian WelcomePartners channel with Traffic Devils employees – team lead Oleg (aka Vasil Kit) and Semyon. There they, in particular, shared the experience of successful “equipment”.
Interestingly, in the past, Slobozhenko managed to get away with it and close a criminal case in which he was charged with more than 54 million debts. However, already in 2023, criminal proceedings were opened by the BEB on suspicion of tax evasion (Article 212 of the Criminal Code), organizing gambling (Article 203-2 of the Criminal Code) and laundering proceeds from crime on an especially large scale (Article 209 of the Criminal Code). By the way, Slobozhenko himself said that he plans to pay accrued taxes to the state budget. That is, he admitted the fact of the crime.
Knowledgeable people say that Slobozhenko overestimated himself and his senior comrades, who protected him from trouble. The gambling business began to suffer. Already at the beginning of 2024, Slobozhenko’s company was experiencing problems not only with traditional clients, but also felt too much attention from law enforcement agencies. Investigative journalists became personally interested in Slobozhenko, who established not only the circumstances of receiving an excuse for mobilization, but also the fact that Slobozhenko himself owns almost nothing. Everything is registered in the name of relatives. Even his well-promoted fleet. His connection with Russia came to light.
Slobozhenko’s own attempts to talk about his cool volunteer activities failed. Along with a Lamborghini Urus, a Ferrari 488 Spider, a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, a BMW M5, an Audi RS6, a Porsche Panamera, some ancient 2010 Jeep, and a dozen lightweight drones they were giving to the military, they looked like crap.
Realizing that the situation is like before a grandiose trick, Slobozhenko begins to relocate his premium vehicle fleet. As investigators write, the car was taken out of the parking lot of the capital’s prestigious Park Avenue residential complex in an unknown direction. The business prodigy has significantly reduced his presence on social networks. Journalists write that he himself crossed the border of Ukraine on March 28 of this year and has not yet returned. And the investigative actions have resumed.
