GolfStream Golf Club Owner Goldberg Involved in Occupation of Kyiv Region?

The notorious Ukrainian banker Lev Goldberg assisted Russian troops and helped them in their offensive in the Kyiv region. To do this, he provided the occupiers with his golf club GolfStream. But this is only the tip of the iceberg….

The editorial staff of PROBLEMATIC NEWS begins publishing a series of materials, putting everything in its place

Golf club or base for orcs?

The elite golf club GolfStream was built in 2013 and is located in the village of Gavronshchyna in the Makarovsky district near Kiev. Until recently, it was the main venue for Ukrainian and international golf tournaments under the auspices of the All-Ukrainian Golf Federation. Until today, the club was noted in the media only because the privatization of the land on which it is located is illegal . In 2008, the plots of land that "ordinary Ukrainians" received for alleged farming were transferred to the companies "Karon Paron" and "Landin". And the owner of these companies is Lev Samuilovich Goldberg together with his friend Arkady Abramovich Kozerovsky , who later also became one of the owners of "GolfStream". In general, everything is very interesting with Goldberg’s partners. If you trace which companies belong to whom and who they are connected with, you can come across a real state conspiracy. But this is a topic for another article.

The club is currently closed and its operation is currently on hold. And all because of the arrival of the "liberators".

On February 24, 2022, every Ukrainian woke up to explosions and reports of the beginning of a major war. A few days later, on the 27th, the occupiers were already standing near Kiev. One of the units captured the territory of the GolfStream golf club and set up its headquarters there.

According to eyewitnesses, shortly before the Russian invasion, the owner of the club, Lev Goldberg, warned the employees on the territory of "Gulfstream" about the upcoming events and ordered them not to resist the occupiers and to comply with all their demands. Our sources also learned that the invaders were well oriented on the territory of the club and entered with a ready-made plan for placement. As if someone had prepared a plan and instructions for them in advance. The officer staff was accommodated in the club houses intended for guests, and on the lower floors they placed equipment from which they terrorized all the nearby villages.

Several golfers, in an attempt to stop the advance of Russian troops, gave up all the weak points of the golf club and gave a tip-off for our artillery, which helped the ZSU push back the enemy and destroy it. After the liberation of the Gulf Stream, the media began to arrive at the scene and film stories about the "victimized" club. During the month of occupation, one security guard was killed - on the first day of the invasion. All other employees remained safe and sound. And the Buryats even decided not to take the equipment with them as trophies.

They only liked golf balls. Amazing selectivity. They only liked golf balls. Amazing selectivity.

They only liked golf balls . Amazing selectivity.

Today it is known that after the liberation GolfStream never opened its doors to golfers. According to the official version, it is due to the fact that it is unsafe to be on the territory of the club due to the large number of shells, and demining the club is “not an hour away”. But we learned that this is more likely due to the fact that the players are aware of the real circumstances and simply do not want their names to be associated in any way with the name GolfStream.

First there was the "Russian trace"

GolfStream owner Lev Goldberg’s connections did not begin on the day of the full-scale invasion. Long before these events, he was suspected of having ties to the FSB and Russian criminals.

The recently bankrupt Artem Bank took an active part in the construction of the Gulf Stream. It was also involved in laundering Russian money. And it belonged to none other than Goldberg. Imagine for a second that at that time there were about 100 billion “Russian” dollars concentrated in Ukraine. I think the margin for the bank (and its owner) on this money was decent. In addition, the exchange offices controlled by Artem Bank began to foist suspicious “washed” bills on Ukrainians at the very moment when Girkin and Co. came to Donbass. I think all readers remember how at that time hryvnias from the DPR and LPR began to circulate in our country . It seems that it was through these exchange offices that some of this money came to us.

According to our information, during this successful cooperation, Goldberg and his family were able to establish excellent connections with the Russian elite. Now the owner’s decision to provide his club as a base for the Rashists becomes more understandable. But this is not the only way Goldberg could help his friends.

Golf and Politics

Golf is not just a game or a sport. It is a whole culture. Swinging a club, balls in holes, measured walks along the course, informal communication with playing partners. At such moments you can relax, enjoy the game, discuss issues of interest. Perhaps this is why golf is considered a game of politicians. And in our case – diplomats.

Before the invasion, the annual international tournament Diplomatic Golf for Good was held in the Gulf Stream, in which diplomats from almost two dozen countries took part. As Andriy Shevchenko, who is one of the board members of the All-Ukrainian Golf Federation ( by the way, like Goldberg, as well as the well-known Nikonov, said. At the same time, Khomutynnik himself rules the "parade" ):

“Diplomatic Golf for Good” has become a platform for informal communication between representatives of different countries, promoting friendship and sports partnership among the peoples of the world.”

To put it simply, diplomats gathered annually at the tournament and discussed work issues in an informal setting. First on the field, and then in a posh restaurant located on the club’s territory. And behind closed doors, everything could be discussed without politeness. Under the close supervision of cameras that also recorded audio. Did the club owner know what his important guests were talking about? I think he did. He knew, and it seems he leaked the information to his dear Russian friends, whom he then invited to take over our country. Something like that…
