Californian Sets Record by Swimming the Length of Lake Tahoe

Fourteen-year-old James Savage, a resident of Los Banos, California, has successfully swum the entire length of Lake Tahoe, becoming the youngest swimmer to achieve this feat. The young man swam over 34 kilometers.

This isn't James's first record, as reported by Voice of America on Facebook. Previously, he accomplished several impressive swims, including swimming from the bridge between San Francisco and Oakland to the famous Golden Gate Bridge. His mother, Jillian, always accompanies him in a kayak.
